Chiropractic - A natural discipline.
Chiropractors focus on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disorders of the neuro-musculoskeletal system, and the effects that these disorders produce on the function of the nervous system and on health in general.
We place special emphasis on the relationship between the nervous system and the other systems of the body to achieve balance and health.
What makes us different? We work naturally, without drugs and surgery.
Our work consists of locating and correcting vertebral subluxations. A subluxation occurs when one or more vertebrae lose their alignment and mobility, causing interference to the spinal cord and/or adjacent spinal nerves. This alters the continuous flow of energy and communication between the brain and the rest of the body, preventing us from functioning at 100%.
As chiropractors we correct these spinal misalignments with our hands, using gentle, specific adjustments to help restore communication between the nervous system and the other systems of our body.
The foundation of our work is based on a simple fact – the human body is incredibly intelligent and continually seeks the conservation of homeostasis (balance) through our different systems. The nervous system is our master communication system which utilizes the brain, spinal cord, and nerves to keep our brain and body connected so that it functions properly. This lightning-fast system is what makes our hearts beat, keeps us breathing, digests our food, creates new cells, etc., without us ever having to think about it.
From an engineering and design perspective, we can say that the human body is a near-perfect machine when “calibrated” properly. Chiropractors help fine tune this biological machine by restoring proper function to the spine and by improving communication between the brain and the body. This optimizes its ability to heal itself and to maintain our physical, mental and emotional health.

Who Should See a Chiropractor?
Chiropractic is not only for people with headaches, back pain, low back pain, sciatica, etc. While it is great at helping with these issues, it is much more than a mere remedy to relieve pain or discomfort.
